Abraham and Sarah

         

Today I made a google slide about Abraham and Sarah. About how God had promised to give them as many descendants as the stars in the sky.

Using manners in our words!

W.A.L.T Use manners in what we say. 

Manners are things that you are supposed to be polite and make someones day better.

You usually use manners when someone says thank you, or if you receive something, if someone is in the way and you say pardon and other things like that. 

I think I need to work on saying may I because I do not usually say it.

The Abandoned Hotel

Today I made a narrative, About The Abandoned Hotel. It is about to twin girls that get trapped in a abandoned hotel. but they didn't know it was abandoned. This is my story and picture.

The Abandoned Hotel

One dark stormy night twin girls decided to go play outside in the front yard. Stella and Ella didn't want a jacket or an umbrella. They just went outside. While the twins went for a walk down the creepy street and they saw a hotel! An abandoned hotel. With blood all over the entrance. The windows were smashed and the blood was still wet.

Ella walked in, not knowing it was abandoned. Stella knew there was something weird about the hotel but she still walked inside. Ella thought it was empty she thought wrong! It was not empty it was full of scary creatures. Stella decided to look around Ella fell down a hole with a carpet over it, but Stella didn't know. So Stella continued walking. Since the hole was so deep Stella couldn't hear Ella calling for help. 

Suddenly Stella realised Ella was gone! She was panicking. She ran back to the entrance, Ella wasn't there! So she ran back to where she disappeared. Suddenly Stella fell through the hole and found Ella. But they didn't know how to get out.

It was dark, luckily Stella bought a flashlight she left in her back pocket. It worked for a few seconds then it blew up. Stella had just bought it and even put new batteries in it! Then she remembered she had some batteries in her pocket! They were relieved! She stuffed the batteries into the flashlight. They continued walking down the hall.  Suddenly a shadow sprinted past and slowly went around them and started speeding up every second and disappear after a while it was gone. Ella and Stella were terrified.

Ella waited for a second to make sure it was gone and to wait for Stella to hurry up. Ella and Stella slowly walked forwards walked slowly hoping nothing was there. Then another shadow came and started running after them. Ella ran fast, while Stella tried running as fast as she could, Ella looked behind her and it was gone. Eventually Stella looked behind her and realised it was gone! But that shadow made them even more lost! They continued walking down the hallway.

Suddenly a very loud scream came from behind them! Ella fainted! Stella decided to wait for her to wake up. 30 minutes later Stella fainted too! Eventually they woke up. But tied to two separate chairs! There was a lady going around them! Both of them cried!

The lady had to go to the toilet. So Ella and Stella somehow ran away. There was a ladder that they climbed up. They were relieved. As Ella and Stella continued running outside the lady grabbed their hair! Luckily they kicked her away. When the made it home they told their parents everything. They police knocked it all down. 

5 years later. The lady knocked on the door. The Mum, Dad, and the Twins were never seen again! All of the creatures invaded their house forever!

Places you can pray!

Today I done a DLO that showed others where they can worship God. Worshipping means show respect and obey somebody. In my DLO I put places you can pray and who you can pray with.
I also put Matthews verse, For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them. That means anywhere you pray God is with you. Do you know any other places you can pray?

PLAYS!

Today Room 2 learnt plays and showed them to Room 4 and Room 4 show us there plays too! My play I done was called Feathers First.

 The people in my group Chleo was a Tui,
 Raima was a Weka and Sparrow,
Violina was a Kereru,
Charlee was a Kea,
Amelie was a Ruru and a Pukeko,
Linkon was a Kiwi,
Cody was a Hawk,
and I was a Kakapo!

My favourite thing about the play was making the props. I made some wings, then i painted them. Since I was a Kakapo I painted my wings green and yellow! My least favourite thing was that I don´t quite like performing with a audience because then when I talk everyone will look at you.

Netball

Today New Brighton Catholic had winter sports. I played Netball,

What went well,

I played attack and I shot some hoops, My team got 10 shots the other team got 1 shot. The team was not to hard to play against which that was a very good thing. We have won every time so far which is three times.

What did I find hard,

In the first quarter the defence was pretty good she managed to get the ball off me sometimes but not all the time. The other team was not getting called out for shooting and they done that alot.

What I am looking foward to next week,

I really like to play netball it is my favourite sport although there is lots of running i still find it fun. Most of the time the teams are easy so I hope the next team is more of a competition.

What I need to work on,

Im not to sure i think im already going alright.
