Zoo

For Maths we had to make a Zoo and find the Perimeter and the Area for how big the animals cages were gonna be. We got into pairs and chose 10 animals. In the Zoo there is, Peacocks,  Crocodiles, Flamingos, Giraffes, Zebras, Koalas, Sloths, Lions, Pandas, and Llamas! There is also a car park, toilets, a cafe, and a reception.

My Math Strategy!

W.A.L.T Multiply using tidy numbers, rounding and compensating.

Today I have to do an Example and Explain how to do my Math strategy. I drew out the how I do it in my book and took a photo of it.

Here is my Strategy!

How I done it...
My Problem was 68x98. I added 2 to make it 70, and then I times it by 98. The answer was 6860. Then I took the two that I added to make the 68 70, and times that by 98. That equals 196. Then I done 6860-196 and that was 6664. So the answer is 6664.

Studyladder

For Maths Today I played Studyladder for 15 minutes. It was kinda fun but I got bored of it after a while. Do you have Studyladder? If not would you want to play it? Here is a screenshot of me playing Studyladder.
